Systems Requirements
Macbook/iMac
Hardware Requirements
• macOS version 10.11 or later
• Any Mac system released from 2009 onwards
Internet Requirements
• 15 Mbps for HD resolution at up to 60 fps (for example, 1280x720)
• 25 Mbps for FHD resolution at 60 fps (for example, 1920x1080)
• 35 Mbps for QHD and UWQHD resolution at 120 fps (for example, 3840x1440 or 2560x1440)
• 45 Mbps for 4K resolution at 120 fps (for example, 3840x2160)
We recommend using a wired Ethernet connection or a 5 GHz Wi-Fi connection.
In addition, latency from your location to the NVIDIA data center must be under 80 ms for best experience.
You must be a GeForce NOW Ultimate member for 4K/QHD resolution, HDR, AV1, Cloud G-SYNC, and 120/240 fps streaming on the native macOS app.
Keyboard and Mouse
Most USB keyboards and mice are supported.
We recommend using a USB gaming mouse because the Apple Magic Mouse does not have separate left and right buttons and does not have a scroll wheel, which are often required for gaming.
If you experience stuttering while using a mouse, you can try lowering the mouse polling rate to 125 Hz first.
Display
Most monitors work well with all membership plans.
Controllers
• Microsoft Xbox Wireless Controller (via USB cable or Bluetooth)
• Sony DualSense and DUALSHOCK4 (via USB cable or Bluetooth)
• Logitech Gamepad F310/F510/F710
Note: You must switch the controller to Direct Input mode.
Note: The nano receiver must be connected to a USB port that provides sufficient power, such as a powered USB hub or a USB port on an iMac or MacBook.
• Microsoft Xbox 360 wired USB controller
• SteelSeries Nimbus/Nimbus+
Other gamepads may work, and some models may require additional drivers and/or software updates to function properly.
